This Silo Home is an Architectural Wonder!

This week we travel to New South Wales, Australia, to explore a truly extraordinary home. What was once a humble grain silo has been transformed into a striking architectural wonder.

The circular form of the silo has been completely reimagined, creating a home that feels futuristic, warm, and unlike anything else. Inside, every curve has been embraced with creativity, turning a challenging round structure into a space that flows with imagination and style.

Just as impressive is the outdoor living area. Thoughtful landscaping ties the silo to its breathtaking farm surroundings, complete with a wood-fired hot tub, a brazier, and lounge spaces perfectly positioned to enjoy sweeping views and star-filled skies.

This remarkable home sits on a 1,600 acre, fifth-generation farm. For Amber and Nicholas, the silo is more than just a luxury B&B. It is both a way to diversify the farm in challenging times and a dream retirement home for the future. The project, originally drawn up by architect Sarah Lebner, has since taken on a life of its own, shaped by the family and their vision for the land.

Join us on this tour as we step inside an old grain silo that has been reimagined into a truly extraordinary architectural gem.

  1. This home was an absolute dream to film. What a house, and what a location! We were so fortunate to stay here while filming and loved every second of it. There are few things in life that can top soaking in a hot tub while looking out over those incredible vistas.

Getting to know Amber, Nicholas, and their family was truly special. They are a hardworking couple who have poured so much into their farm, and now into this new and inspiring venture.
We hope you enjoy the tour as much as we did.

    With love,
    Bryce & Rasa ❤

  2. Wow disappointed kinda they should of had a sliding glass door upstairs to like walk out and have a place to sit, kitchen should of been bigger wheres the fridge? Beautiful view though nice land crazy how much was spent I believe you could of done more with it then the bland kinda job that was done but the only thing that matters is you two are happy opinions are like aholes everybody has one 😊

  3. Wow, this is just so beautiful and interesting, definitely worth the travel out there to stay in this epic structure (talking as a true urbanite) and to support this wonderful couple. Absolute luxury. Well done!

  4. Love that at the end, when they’re talking about their dreams about the future, Amber is thinking about building an accessible accommodation. Please do! And if you have the means, please keep complex needs like an easy care bed (hospital bed), powered wheelchairs, mobile hoists and other configurations than just couples in mind! (I’m thinking about people who live with carers and families who have medically complex children who have support from nurses).
I hope you get to accomplish all of your dreams!

  5. What a beautiful getaway. And the architecture is magnificent. They are a lovely couple. Thanks to you & Rasa for showing us these amazing homes.😊

  6. Bloody good build! Sad that at 6 generations they still haven’t planted a tree across that whole area. The sheep don’t allow any natural propagation.
