Young Couple Builds Tiny House as their 1st Home Together

It had always been a dream of Eddie Lanzo’s, a real estate agent in Austin, to live in a tiny house. But it wasn’t until he met his now wife, Lacey, that it became a reality!

With the help of Lacey’s father, Eddie constructed an 18 foot Tumbleweed Tiny House in 2014. It would be the first house he and Lacey would live in, with their dog Clark.

In this tour, Lacey takes us through her tiny abode, and while it’s still partially in construction, she shares some great tips for future builders.

This young couple is currently parked at an RV park near Austin, Texas. The RV park has plenty of amenities including bathrooms and a community kitchen. They are happily married and living tiny! See it’s possible NOT to kill your significant other in a tiny space!

  1. i have watched at least a hundred of tiny houses and i came to the conclusion that this is it.this is the best!my dream tiny house!two lofts, a wide kitchen, lots of light, and the white walls..💕

  2. Awesome. Nice to see one in the middle of the build and the resourcefulness of the couple living there. =)

  3. the dog made me nervous up there with no barrier for it in the loft, hard to concentrate during that portion of the interview

  4. The hanging closet in front of a window is unattractive. And it would be unpleasant sitting in between the racks of clothes.

  5. Enjoy your views on tiny house living ( even the one in which you shared the negatives) and I love seeing the different architectural styles as I am very interested in designing my own tiny/ small house someday so I am gathering ideas – thanks
