This week we meet Lizzie and Patrick, an inspiring young couple who built their very own, incredible tiny house for the equivalent cost of just one years rent in London city!

And the home is beautiful too. Stunningly designed and easily accommodating the couples needs, this home has provided both Lizzie and Patrick with a lot more than just a secure roof over their heads. It’s also given them the ability to save money and focus on the things that are truly important to them in life.

With the cost of living in the UK (and around the globe) at astounding highs, I’m sure there are many people out there who love the idea of giving up a years worth of city rent in exchange for building their own dream tiny house! Lizzie and Patrick are an inspiring young couple who have built a truly impressive home for a remarkable budget and we hope you enjoy visiting their home as much as we did!

  11. No shade on this couple as they have done an amazing job and seem like lovely people, but I would hi light that land in the UK costs so much and is very difficult to come by especially near London and Home Counties. Many of these young people in the UK are on family land which is rare.

  12. The way the home is integrated into the garden and the trees really takes it to another level. As many have noted here though, finding a location that is suitable, affordable and so on can be as much or more of a challenge than building the house itself. We live in London and it’s so crowded and congested, getting out of the city as in this case to Oxfordshire (50 miles away) makes sense.
