Meet Corinne, the founder of Tiny Homes of Maine, who started her innovative building company to address the ongoing housing crisis. She shares a tour of a wonderfully livable single-level tiny house on wheels with 2 downstairs bedrooms–the Baxter. She also shares how her advocacy helped lead to the passage of Maine’s groundbreaking tiny home laws, which allow movable tiny homes to be used as primary single-family dwellings and accessory dwelling units (ADUs) statewide.

It was once called mobile home and now it’s tiny home. Got it.
You can have a much larger home for less than that price. Shocked.
I want 500 sq feet so then what?
Why is it only showers in bathrooms and not a tub?
Cute tiny home
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🥰🥰
So agreed about the value of no lofts, and how rare that is despite the demand for it.
Yesss n Happy Friday THE😀n as usual This is Gonna b so Great n Thank u🎯💐🎉🔥🔥🔥👍!!!….
My compliments and respect for your contribution to the groundbreaking legislative work for tiny houses in your state!
A follow-up video showing the entire design and decision-making process from quotation to delivery between the builder and the customer would be very valuable.
That kitchen sink is way too small. Can’t even wash big pots and pans in there. How does this work with all the heavy weight on one side? The bathroom sink is too small too.
Chris, you goof. You had WAY too much fun shooting that commercial. 😂😂 // On a serious note, it’s interesting to get a peek behind the curtain, with tiny home manufacturers being a positive influence on legislation. Of course, they’re not doing it fully out of the kindness of their hearts, they’re commercial businesses after all. But it’s stil la positive change for folks who want to own their own homes, but don’t want or need a normal sized one or a McMansion.
My mom has lived in her single level tiny home (Firefly tiny homes out of SC) for a year now and absolutely loves it!! Single level is the way to go for many!
Hello: your tiny homes could be
more liveable with windows placed
higher up to allow for an entry closet,
half peninsula and better placement
of furniture. You could also build cup-
boards around the bed if the window
was removed above the bed. In fact,
a suggestion would be to make a lay-
out of how you wanted your furniture
and cupboards etc, to fit and then add
the windows! I like that you make your
tiny homes a decent width to allow for
storeage and flow!❤
We tried for 5 years to get a loan in Maine. Gave up, we’re buying a condominium. I’m not going to live long enough for the banks to catch up. If you don’t have a house to sell or a piece of land, you’re out.
PS wondering how all the tinies are faring in this record breaking cold?
Could one of these one -level homes be adjusted to a disabled wheelchair access? I just lost most of the usage of my legs and a tiny home would be perfect.
