Couple’s Tiny Home helps to reduce monthly costs & open dream bakery!

Meet Meredith & Cody, a sweet couple living in a tiny house on wheels on Blackwater Bay in Flordia. They bought a 30 ft tiny home with a downstairs bedroom from Tumbleweed and made it into a reversed living tiny house by putting the living room in the bigger loft. The affordable cost of living helped Meredith fulfill her dream of owning a bakery! It’s parked on her parents’ property, where her childhood home once stood before being destroyed by a hurricane. If a storm comes, they have an emergency plan to tow their home on wheels away.

  1. Meredith & Cody love the simple life in their tiny home on the waterfront! It’s 30 ft with a downstairs bedroom and a lofted living room. It’s parked on her parents’ property, where her childhood home once stood before being destroyed by a hurricane. Importantly, they have an emergency plan to evacuate with their home on wheels if needed. 🏡🏡👉 *Watch this tour to see how a 12 ft wide park model tiny home compares to an 8.5 ft THOW:* https://youtu.be/eFhqKXG80F4?si=s1PMCa7xXMSeU47B

  2. I absolutely LOVE-LOVE-LOVE how they consider switching to an incinerating toilet an UPGRADE!!! Anytime I see a tiny home with a standard flush toilet (and all the attendant excuses for not going with compost/dry or incinerating) I cringe. Wish these sorts of alternative toilets would gain more traction! Water is NOT an infinite resource!

  3. I’m getting more cramped and claustrophobic vibes with this layout than I usually do watching other tiny home episodes.
    Nice parking spot though!

  4. Watching from Scotland . Tiny houses Communities are not really a thing here unfortunately. One day tho I hope I can find a lush spot near water and live In a tiny house . So eco and manageable.
    Loved this tiny house

  5. Lovely heart centered couple, I love that they found Tumbleweed.. the granddaddy of Tiny living and their solid specification standards that banks trust show the commitment to make Tiny a viable living choice

  6. What a shame you have no garden or outdoor area, it looks very narrow and not very cosy..

  7. Great layout. Sweet couple, and all the pets really say a lot about them. 💜 We have a small cottage in Florida, and we’re actually going to go with a tiny house if the hurricanes ever completely destroy our place. (It’s been there since 1958, but you never know.) Best wishes to all of them! 🦋

  8. How about adding a area rug big enough to cover the bare floor. A rug would make sitting on the floor cozier. It would also be nice for your animals to lounge on when you are all upstairs together. Just a suggestion. Thanks for sharing. Very nice home

  9. Well…what the difference between RV..& TINYhome” ….idk..!?..,its cute .. beautiful area ..how nice .you have your parents too .and sweet animals

  10. I love how you take such good care of your dogs! they are our best friends! that little white poodle is so sweet… Im so happy you have such a great spot and nice place to live! thanks for the tour today! And Alexis and Christian, you do the nicest job showing us the wonderful places and the owners stories!

  11. What a great story. This couple is off to a great start. It’s wonderful that the wife has started a business that allows her to do what she loves.

  12. I’ve seen this same setup and the child (adult) have to leave and remove the tiny house ! Where is it legal to put a tiny house! I live onCapeCod and don’t want to move to Tennessee 😊

  13. Love the show, but it always wraps up in the same way. It could just be removed since it doesn’t add to the episode.
