EXTRA SMALL Tiny House Built by Young Firefighter – FULL TOUR

Brett built this modern ultra tiny house on evenings and weekends (while also working a full-time construction job AND working as a rural firefighter). It measures just 10′ x 16′ but it packs a lot into a microscopic space, including a double murphy bed, a galley kitchen, and a luxury glass shower. With a window in the front door and a window at the back, there’s plenty of natural light coming into the home, and there’s actually some decent storage in here with a pantry, a closet, and space above the murphy bed as well.

You can find out more about Brett’s Tiny House for Sale here:

To maximize the living room space, Brett has collapsible furniture that folds flat so that the murphy bed can come down on top of it and create a bedroom in no time at all. He also included some clever and unique design features like the built-in charging stations on either side of the bed, and the light in the shower niche.

We were especially inspired to hear Brett’s story about how he sold his first tiny home build in order to pay for his tuition to become a firefighter. He’s an impressive and talented guy and we can’t wait to see what he builds next 🙂

Thanks for watching!

  1. Oh I love this!
Not sure about having the vanity in the living room/bedroom though. They still have to leave the toilet area to wash up, i’d probably just use the kitchen sink, or put the vanity in the shower space, maybe put up a flip down floor in there too so they’re not stepping down onto shower tile. I’d set this up with solar in an instant.

Seriously, I can imagine a few of these on some property, he should buy some land and set a few up!

$67,000 Canadian! Certainly affordable for many of us.

    Thank you!

  2. this would be fun as a goof a lil man cave ting to show off and make the feminists angry lol, but this is wack bruh! you actually live in this container?

  3. Interesting that you chose to describe him as “young firefighter” in the title when he clearly states first that he works in construction, as if that main job would make building homes less impressive to someone scrolling YouTube than a firefighter doing so.

  4. Baffling that a firefighter of all people would place his gas cooktop right next to a wooden panel. 🤔 The toilet would benefit from an opaque glass wall to provide at least a modicum of privacy if more than one person was inside this house, such as a visitor.

  5. This would be a great idea in a backyard to rent out for students or single folks. They have all the necessities.
