Family builds backyard Tiny House as in-law suite VS a home addition

Download Screw Jam for FREE now via QR code or this link: https://tinyurl.com/TinyHouseExpeditionSJam AND receive 3 hrs of unlimited lives & 100 free coins! 🚀 🏡 Meet Marc & Katherine, owners of a beautifully designed tiny house with a downstairs bed. It’s nestled in their spacious backyard in Atlanta. When the time came to grow their family, they needed more space to host their parents for extended visits. So, they decided to buy a 22’x8.5′ tiny house on wheels instead of doing a costly addition to their small home. They use it as a flex space–in-law suite, home office & part-time Airbnb to pay for the build cost. This backyard ADU lives large for being just 185 sqft, thanks to an open layout, lots of windows, and exceptional attention to functional details.

  2. Hello Alexis and Christian, I’ve been following you for years now and I know that both of you guys have been Advocating for Legalizing zoning for tiny houses my question is how can I finance a tiny house on Social Security income? Is there any way around it or do they have a grants for tiny houses on wheels? Thank you for all the informative series you both have done during these pass years. It’s really appreciated to see all the styles and techniques that you can put into a small but functional home 🏠
    Thank You 😊

  3. I would want a washer and dryer if I stayed. Helps to not overpack. All the hidden features are awesome but I’d never find them. 😂 The stools I would think were clothes drying racks in corner. I’d have never clue stools came out. Maybe it is in the instructions. Love the lay out. It’s odd that tv is behind pillows. I’d hate having to unmake bed etc and put my head against front windows. Love it though. Nice home. Very clean and nice.

  4. This is the best tiny I’ve seen on wheels! It incorporates a beautiful outdoor space and it’s ideal for an air bnb!
