A woman in Seattle built a super narrow “spite house” to block her ex-husband’s view. The 1920s home is just 4 feet wide at its slimmest but despite its cheeky origin, the interior is surprisingly well-appointed. Join us as we take a tour and learn about the quirky backstory that has made this home a local legend.

  1. Such a cute house! The huge fridge kills the aesthetic in main living area and the only thing I would change.😅

  2. This house is 100 years old?? Why is the interior soo ugly?? The only thing I can see that’s that old is the curved front door…. The rest is a grey&white millennial nightmare. If a house is this old, do it some justice. I really doubt any of this fit&finish would be acceptable back then…

  3. $800,000 for such little space, you can’t called that a house,it’s a fraction of a house, wow ,how bad are things getting in the country. These prices are crazy !

  4. Love the idea. 😊 Would have liked to have heard more about it but the chick talked way too much and didn’t let the guy talk.

  5. If they are developing for new homes then I’d work on getting a free home from them AND a reasonable cash settlement to cover the cost of relocating etc… . If it’s not homes then the cash would have to be substancial enough to enable me to purchase a new detached home.

  6. If I own that house, I would never sell it. Too bad the up house has gone into disrepair would be nice if someone can buy that and bring it back to its former glory.

  7. Question: There is no storage in the bathrooms. With a pedestal sink, where do you put your toothbrush?

  8. She was smart. It looks like there’s a grave 🪦 on the property. No one can take it away from the family except the government through eminent domain. Referring to the initial segment

  9. Why is the Spite house “standing up to bullies”? Just because the husband got a deal in the divorce his ex didn’t like, and she built a house to make him angry….doesn’t mean he was a “bully”.
