VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
Welcome to Jen’s peaceful tiny home nestled in a serene food forest! In this video, Jen shares a detailed tour of her tiny house, designed to foster a more peaceful lifestyle while growing her own food and living sustainably. This video is perfect for those looking for inspiration on how to live tiny, downsize, and create a self-sufficient space that’s both functional and beautiful.
Jen walks you through her thoughtfully designed kitchen, which features a spacious layout with a farmhouse sink, flip-up counters for extra space, and a two burner electric cooktop. She explains how she downsized her wardrobe and belongings to fit her new minimalist lifestyle, emphasizing the importance of storage in a tiny home. Jen also shares her tips on organizing with soft-close cabinets and hidden storage solutions.
In her living room, part of a multi-phase project, she reveals how she transitioned the space from a business office into a comfortable living area with a futon that will eventually become her bedroom as she plans for future needs. Jen’s tiny home is a true reflection of intentional living, with plans for aging in place as she turns her living space into a multi-functional hub.
The tour also features Jen’s bathroom with a convenient stand-up shower and her decision to switch from a compost toilet to a regular flush toilet for ease. She introduces her storage staircase, which includes pantry space and a ventilated litter box area for her four cats, who also enjoy a custom-designed cat loft with hopper windows.
Outside, Jen highlights her chicken coop and gardening efforts as part of her larger goal to transform her property into a full-fledged food forest. She discusses how she repurposed materials to build raised garden beds and the progress she’s made in growing fresh, healthy produce. Jen also talks about her vision of turning her homestead into a peaceful, educational community space, where every plant serves a purpose—whether edible, medicinal, or educational.
If you’re thinking about living in a tiny house or creating a sustainable lifestyle, Jen’s journey is full of practical tips, beautiful design, and inspiration for how to live tiny on your terms.

So proud of what you have built! Do you have to worry/deal with deer eating your garden or other encroaching wild life? Do you let your cats out or do you have catio for them? These are questions I ask myself in planning my future also. Thank you!
I love how you are planning ahead to put your bed downstairs when you feel it’s time. And I have 3 cats so i love the catwalk. I’d love to go tiny. I’d better start planning! Thanks so much for the inspiration!
I so love this…..a beautiful, productive garden, a super nice tiny house (love the two burner electric hot plate), and especially love the cats and the chickens!! HEAVEN!
Its very nice
What product are you using for A/C and heat that fits in a window?
This is amazing!!! Love the colours 🤎💚🤎💚
You’ve done a beautiful job!! 👏👑💯
I love this tiny home! Great job= for share a favorite of the ones I’ve seen!
❤ .. that’s exactly what I want.
Beautiful lady and a beautiful homestead. I love this for her. ❤
I don’t know if a person could plan enough even for a tiny home. We are in the building process and so many small things to think about. You did a great job.
I’ve followed her since she started. Love watching her grow!
Regarding air circulation under the bed, just put up ceiling boards as normal for the ceiling, but skip a solid layer of floor boards directly beneath where the bed will be. Just buy or make a support for your top mattress and save on flooring costs, as well as keep the ceiling being “less close.”
Been watching tiny home videos for about 3 yrs and this is best one I’ve seen. So well designed and furnished. Well done.
What a beautiful home you have created ~ you are so artistic and it shows in everything you touch! Your animals are so sweet and the grounds surrounding your home are magnificent! What a grand life you are living! Sending you light, love, peace, joy and abundance always. I love you.
The litter box area to fan out odors is pure genius.
Dreamy!
Dehumidifiers? Mold is the enemy!
This is one of the best tiny homes I’ve seen!
