It enables her to dramatically reduce expenses and focus on her creative life. Her architect father designed it to custom fit not just for 6’3″ Kari but also for him, a 6’9″ man, to visit her comfortably.
Transforming features help make it possible and maximize the extra-tiny 24′ length by 8.5′ width (7.3 x 2.5 m). This includes a remote-control-operated elevator bed above the lounge area, a fold-down table/mini art studio, and a movable wardrobe that conceals the shower. It definitely lives much larger than 200 sqft/18.5 sqm!

Яка чудова ідея з душем! Ніхто до такого не додумався. Дякую!
Finally a person who understand the importance of having a proper office chair to work. As a digital nomad who travels a lot, my main struggle is to find apartments having a proper office chair, a nice shower and a washing machine. These are the 3 most important things a home NEEDS to have.
Nice house, but the bed is not for me. I don’t like depending on electrical things for basic needs
I believe that almost every woman who has seen this video can wistfully imagine themselves in the shoes of this artist, a magical journey, thank you for sharing your life with us, Viva Oregon!
❤❤❤❤❤
Such talent!
I have been having dreams about Kari’s house since 2021. I love it. I wish that there was some Artist plans to reuse❤
I like the idea of bringing the bed down from the loft. So often these left bedrooms are so low people look like they have to walk on their knees to move around upstairs, or stoop way over. Also, it would feel claustrophic to me. This is much more comfortable looking. Also, the wardrobe that covers the shower is an amazing use of space. Just slide the wardrobe down and you have access to a full size shower.
Great!
I’ve never heard about this but I do it for a long time. Somehow, my logic and how I see money and spending, made my “in – out” overview as it is. Now it has a name 😂 and it works.
On that stove, might wanna get a hood for the ventilator which allows you to minimize the grease and smoke
Lovely home. Weird bathroom. Doesn’t look practical & how does the shower dry completely with that wardrobe enclosing it? Awesome to be able to design a fit for a very tall person. Being tall myself, I appreciate that a lot.
The wardrobe over the shower is perfect. I love that detail and its beautiful execution.
I am a little confused by the glass panel next to the bed frame? What is its purpose?
Really great design!
Wow, I loved everything about this woman’s house, but especially about how she articulated her entire journey and how she lives out minimalism in all aspects. A true inspiration. One thing I notice in most tiny homes is the lack of books….but not here. Am I the only one who freezes the frames of the film to be able to read the titles of the owner’s books? Loved seeing Fr. Richard Rohr’s books here and the deep conscientiousness at work in the life of this woman whose home you featured. Thank you so much for this video!
beautiful soul and living your best life now, just so inspiring…
I love how your medium-sized fridge is literally twice the size of mine, and I live in an apartment in Amsterdam hehe. Everything is smaller in Europe. So inspiring, love your little home! The bed is genius.
