Father & Daughter Forced to Rebuild After Losing Tiny Home

Ryan gives a full tour of the tiny home on wheels he custom designed and built, where he lives with his 14-year-old daughter. The home features custom woodwork, and creative space-saving designs, including a lift bed and large garage-style glass doors. The tiny home was severely damaged in flooding from Hurricane Helene and Ryan shares how the experience shaped his outlook and why he’s now seeking a safer place to relocate the tiny home.

  1. The people are being lied to about these weather events being once in a thousand years. They are going to happen more and more because of climate change. If you don’t build to accommodate the real weather then you will have to rebuild over and over.

  2. If he had what his job was, I might have considered helping. Won’t help someone with a go fund me. Sounds like he’s looking for a handout after all help received after hurricane

  3. I am so sorry your beautiful house was damaged in the flood. However I am happy that you & your daughter are safe & well.
Your home is absolutely beautiful for both you & your daughter.
Good luck on your new adventure.

  4. I’m sorry..probably very naive of me to ask, but..why didn’t you just drive away in your home-on-wheels when the storm hit, esp if the weatherman had predicted the tg?

  5. Very cool that you built your own home. Such cozy homey vibes. Also love that you added a dog door for your dog. 🐶

  6. Sad to hear about all the damage from Helene, but happy that you and your daughter are ok. Love the great attitude you have. My hope for you is that you find the piece of property that meets your needs economically, esthetically and for safety. ❤ your tiny home
