  5. Love this tiny house 🏠 For many U.S. municipalities, the zoning laws & regulations that block tiny home development were created in the late 80’s – early 00’s to eliminate & ‘phase out’ _MOBILE HOME PARKS_ !

    Developers, city councils and county commissions eliminated hundreds, if not thousands, of mobile & manufactured home communities. It was class warfare and they won! They claimed the parks were too crowded, a strain on utilities, a hot bed of crime, a blight on the greater community etc etc. They put thousands of people out of their affordable homes and IMO, kickstarted our current houselessness crisis 😔

    They never built the apartments and affordable homes they said would replace the parks they shut down. They were never going to build them and our nations lack of affordable housing is PROOF 😤
