Inside the Incredible Hempcrete Tiny Home of Bronnie Ware, Author of “Top 5 Regrets of the Dying”

In this week’s episode, we visit an extraordinary tiny house belonging to Bronnie Ware, the bestselling author of ‘Top Five Regrets of the Dying’. Her words have inspired millions around the world to live more honestly, more courageously, and with fewer regrets, and now we get a rare glimpse into how those values shape her own way of life.

Set within 32 acres of breathtaking Australian wilderness, Bronnie’s hempcrete tiny home is a beautiful example of intentional and alternative living. This is not just a tiny house tour. It is a reflection of a life designed around simplicity, connection to nature, and focusing on what truly matters.

Bronnie’s book explores the most common regrets people express at the end of their lives, from not living true to themselves to working too hard and losing touch with joy. Those same insights flow directly into her decision to embrace tiny house living. For many people, tiny homes are about more than downsizing. They are about freedom, clarity, and reclaiming time, creativity, and presence.

One of the most fascinating aspects of this sustainable tiny house is its construction. Built using hempcrete, a natural building material made from hemp and lime, the home offers excellent insulation, breathability, and thermal comfort. Hempcrete is non-toxic, fire-resistant, carbon-negative, and well suited to natural and eco-conscious building. It aligns beautifully with a low-impact, environmentally thoughtful way of living.

Here in her tiny home, Bronnie lives alongside her daughter, immersed in nature and surrounded by quiet. It is a life grounded in simplicity, creativity, and intention. A life shaped not by accumulation, but by meaning. A life lived with far fewer regrets.

This episode is an invitation to explore tiny house living through a deeper lens. It asks us to reflect on how we live, what we value, and what kind of life we want to look back on one day.

  1. This episode is a special one for me. Top 5 Regrets of the Dying was a genuinely formative book for me and had a big influence on how I think about purpose, having the courage to live authentically and what really matters in life. Being able to meet Bronnie, hear her story, and step inside her own home was a real privilege. We hope you enjoy the tour of this inspiring woman’s home. With Love, Bryce & Rasa

  2. Lovely home but please, don’t leave those curtains open, in your bedroom with that bright sun, it will cause fading and aid in threads and material age quicker. It’s a really beautiful quilt. 😊

  3. Hemp-Crete is an amazing dual material and we plan on using it in the future. I am curious to know why she chose to put metal siding over it instead of lime plaster? My best guess is it’s due to framing because of the roof choice vs dome style?
    🤔
Their studio is my favorite, functional and beautiful flowing layout.

Thank you for bringing out the depth of her story too, we always love your interviews along with the home tour. 😊

  4. “This house is the reward for courage.” Just wow, tears too. Stunning landscape, slowing down to digest her life’s experience to allow her real needs to surface. Two (3 really 🙂 ) people whose orbits cross while they all follow their dharma creates peace for us all in a lovely, kind interview. thanks so much.

  5. Fabulous lady and video Bryce. I was a college counselor back in the 1990s for a while and had studied Elisabeth Kubler-Ross. Now I will be spending time reading Bronnie Ware.

  6. This is exactly why I keep paying my internet for =) motivating and inspiring contents. A channel that refuel dreams!

  7. Thanks to all of you who have left beautiful comments – they mean a lot.

And for the trolls or negative ones: it’s a relief knowing that my happiness is not dependent on your opinion. What a boring world it would be if we were all alike anyway!

Bryce and Rasa do an incredible job bringing the stories of us tiny home owners to life. I was initially hesitant when they reached out, not wanting to share the inside of my home so intimately with strangers. But one of the lovely things about their channel is their integrity and the community they’ve built.

Thank you all for your kindness and connection through your comments. The internet can be a special place in its own way. 💛

  8. Rasa and Bryce, after almost a decade of watching the beautiful content you folks put out, I’m surprised at how many of your stories still make me well up. Beautiful narration and amazing presence Bryce. What a life to capture. Thankyou for this art. ❤
