The kitchen is the hardest working room in any size home, but in a tiny home, it requires extreme efficiency to fit in all the necessities and create a comfortable cooking space. We share top small space design ideas from many different size/style tiny homes, including our DIY 130 sqft home on wheels. 🍳✨👉 *See our Tiny Kitchen Playlist watch to watch full tours of the homes features & for more tiny kitchen design ideas:* https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLlvBXhDyr9H0rdEcUkrL0xztC7OV2iSl1&si=t7AXHopZhYDQp914
This is one of your better video’s, and when I’m done remodeling my tiny house on wheels and I get the kitchen done, I’ll send you a video for the part two to kitchens.
I despise pull out shelves, my mother had them installed on every lower cabinet if her new kitchen, at least twice a week something will fall off the back of a shelf and keep it from sliding back in. just get drawers. its easier in the long run. also for under sink cabinet. look for the hinges with the quick release. you (or a repairman) will inevitably have to crawl under there and being able to remove the doors frees up a surprising amount of room. finally elevating your fridge, even just a few inches helps you see (and remember to use) everything inside it.
Super video! Great content! Keep up the great job!!
Excellent ideas! Thank you!
Another great idea video! Thanks for the links to each of the tiny tours so we can go and watch the entire videos on some of lovely homes we may have forgotten about. 😍😊 Awesome job C&A! Keep up the great work! Can’t wait to see the ‘spring’ shorts from your tiny A frame.
Great info, loved it!
Hi guys👋,great video🎉
I am still working my tiny kitchen, the problem being it’s HUD andthete is no color change or wall decor 🤔
I’m still not convinced that I can find a way🤭!
JO JO IN VT 💞☃️
So I would like more information about a specific space if possible … at marker 7:07 there is a shot of a kitchen and a loft. gorgeous space. There is a stairway into the loft in the bathroom. is there any other information about this build – such as designed or model – or other images by chance? THANK YOU
Always love seeing unusual storage solution.
One I came up with for my cutting board is very simple, cheap, quick to make and stores the board dust-free, almost invisibly but quick to access. Screw four L-hooks into the underside of a wide shelf or hanging cabinet. Make the short arm of the L face inward and space them so they are an inch or so closer together front to back than the width of the board, and from side to side a little wider than the length of the board. The shank of the hook needs to be long enough to accommodate the thickness of the board. Slide the board upside-down between the hooks to hang it with the cutting side exposed to air. If you rinse a wooden board on the top only, it also helps to dry the wood.
On the subject of cutting board, you can get large stainless steel worktop protectors which are also meant to be used directly as cutting boards. They are hygienic and easy to clean, versatile, and come in different sizes and have a short lip on the front to go over the worktop edge and makes the sheet more rigid. The smooth surface makes it ideal for gadgets with suction cup feet. They turn any other surface, including that precious antique sideboard, into an additional work surface, and if you have a messy craft or mechanical job, make a mess to your heart’s desire. Typical sizes are 30x40cm, 40x50cm, 50x70cm and a few other sizes, including bigger. As an example, I’m about to order a 50x50cm sheet from a well-known online shop starting with “A” for £26.
Awesome! Even more ideas for my future THOW.
I am laughing out loud. . . .I hate cooking and have been trying to find a tiny house design that actually minimizes the space dedicated to the kitchen. I need more room in the bathroom to be able to wash the paws of my dogs!
Hoping to start a build later this year, and we’re figuring out plans! We want to have a long slider window in our kitchen in place of a backsplash, with floating shelves above. Do you think that would be enough for ventilation when cooking, or do we need a range hood? We don’t cook stinky/greasy things much…
❤❤❤
great tipps for any home thank you for doing this!
Love how every detail enhances the sense of tranquility.
Hey guys! Do you have a full tour of Tiny Home at marker 3:56? Wood shelves, brick wall, tiny wood stove….? Great video btw….getting prepared for my build!
Great video ! ❤ Thank you !
