VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
Are you dreaming of downsizing but worried you can’t fit a whole family into a tiny home? Mark and Daisy prove that not only is it possible, but it can also be the key to unlocking a life of financial freedom, more family time, and less stress. After realizing they couldn’t afford land and a traditional house, they took matters into their own hands.

In this inspiring tour, this family of four welcomes us into the beautiful and spacious 40-foot tiny home they designed and built themselves on their 5-acre property. They share the full story of how downsizing from a 1300 sq. ft. house drastically cut their monthly expenses from over $2,400 to just $700, giving them the freedom to start their own tiny home building business. This tour is packed with brilliant design ideas for families, from the main-floor parent’s bedroom to the two separate lofts for their teenage kids.

Bedrooms: 1 Main-Floor Bedroom + 2 Sleeping Lofts
Cost Savings: Went from a $2400/month mortgage to a $700/month land loan.

► ABOUT THIS FAMILY TINY HOME:
This 10-foot wide tiny house on wheels is a masterclass in functional family design. By placing the parents’ bedroom on the main floor and giving each of their teenage children their own private loft, they created a layout that offers both privacy and connection. The design prioritizes open space and natural light, with high ceilings and large glass doors. Their story is a powerful testament to how downsizing can reduce financial pressure and free up time and resources to focus on what truly matters: family and pursuing your passions.

  1. Thank you so much Tiny Home Tours! It was such a pleasure to meet you all and spend the day going through our tiny house. This is a beautifully shot and edited video and captured a fun snapshot of our life. Thank you all!!

  2. As a swede I always wonder about U.S showers. I mean why have big showers when the water comes out from the wall? We have those as well, but also a loose showerhead that makes it simple if you dont need to clean your hair, want to clean a pet, want to clean anything like your feet. It just makes no sense to me. You just need like 70 cm allaround where your head is. Max 90cm.

  3. 15:45 “You’re grounded, climb up to your room young man! Don’t climb down until you’ve thought about what you’ve done!” It was hard not to imagine a mother saying that.
