Cheyenne takes us on a tour of her gorgeous Tiny Home, which she built herself using the money she received from her late father’s life insurance policy. Through her grief, Cheyenne taught herself to use power tools. Her step-dad taught her to build and guided her through the entire process of crafting her very own home. In the end, she built a home that would be her safe place and would make her father proud.

  3. 😢😮 don’t see 100k in materials & labor for such a small area…nor 60k total 160k???
    * whats the land cost?

    Maybe its where ever you live & costs are more…

    But, for a 1800 sq ft house metal roof, glass block walk in shower with marble walls, sunken step up jet bath with huge a window, ceramic tile floors, white carpet, huge Aragon glass green tinted huge windows all around the house, L shaped kitchen customized cabinets, built in wall double oven, dishwasher, trash compactor, huge octagon shaped island built in 4 burner stove top, a 2nd half bath with tub/shower, 2nd bedroom art studio with a built in customed wall library nook, master bedroom french doors, walls customed stained wood with all bevel squared designs, separate wash room, 15x 18 built shed with hardi siding, walk around porch, covered, celining fans outside, hardi siding, all painted…….costs me 80k!!!

    **I also got all my materials at Habitat for Hummanity**

    All the materials for my remodel & build were located @ Habiat (In case those are wondering whats Habitat for hummanity its builders whom have an over abundance of inventory & just folks who donate All working & in mint shape items to all Habitat for Hummanity locations)

    They in turn sell to the public for just a fraction of what it would cost at big box suppliers, you just have to load, haul it yourself.

    The wood on the outside you painted black will not last especially where its located, wondering why you didnt use stucco, lasts forever, moisture resistant too.

    LOVE THE MORROCCAN ROOM DIVIDERS…..I had em in the 70’s can’t find them anymore, really quality hand carved artwork.❤

  6. Beautiful home, but I do find the steps, on both sides, unsafe.
    Also, how do you get into the bath tub?
    The bath tub surround looks really high.
    Seems like an accident waiting to happen.

  10. I like everything about your fine hand made home except the fact a bear broke into your bedroom window. What can be done to make it safer from the wildlife?
