Stairs are a no-go for aging in place. And an injury risk that can create long-term mobility issues. On another of these videos a senior woman admitted she had fallen on her stairs! This home has way too many stairs. The expense of moving a tiny home might mean you are stuck & have to sell to be able to move. Plus she said it is rated as an RV & that makes even finding private land for it difficult. Zoning laws are unlikely to make that possible plus buying land is another expense. Unless you’re off-grid, running utilities is a major initial outlay. Older people need sewer or septic. Composting toilets are not a long-term solution for 24/7 living. I would love to have the dream she describes be practical & possible but it’s just not for most people in most places in America and Canada.
