The Thicket tiny house was built by Rewild Homes in BC, Canada with a 10-foot extra-wide design that makes for a spacious tiny house with a main floor bedroom (no stairs, no lofts in the middle of the night!), a pass through bathroom with a massive shower and combo washer/dryer, an L-shaped kitchen with full-size appliances, a dining room table for two, and a cozy living room with a fireplace. This tiny house is built with beautiful and durable materials including pine, hemlock, cedar, and fir woods, a locally made trailer, and standing seam metal siding and roofing.

The house is bathed in natural light with french doors, awning windows, and transom windows – all strategically placed to make it feel bright, airy, and ventilated inside the home while also maintaining some privacy and avoiding the higher cost of skylights.
This THOW (tiny house on wheels) also has loads of storage including ample cabinetry in the kitchen, storage for linens and towels in the bathroom, closets in the bedroom, and a storage loft that is accessible via a ladder in the bedroom.
Rewild Homes started after owners Jess and Pat built their own tiny house back in 2012 and subsequently decided to start building tiny homes for others. They have since built over 70 homes!
The Thicket is a show home that allowed them to make fun design choices that they wanted to try, like dramatic forest green cabinetry in the kitchen, a luxurious spa-like bathroom, and a main floor bedroom with it’s own private entrance and deck. This home will eventually become a long-term rental for someone on Vancouver Island.
The tiny house is an easy plug and play unit with simple hookups including a potable garden hose connection for water, a septic connection for waste, a 50-amp twist lock RV style power connection for electricity, and propane connections for the on demand hot water heater and off-grid stove and oven. The shed style sloped roof also makes it easy to install gutters on one side of the house for rainwater collection.
We hope you enjoyed a tour of this beautiful tiny house on wheels!

Lies.. I have 3 mini splits. Zero maintenance and extremely quiet. Do you research before listening to this garbage. She is price gouging is all
The cabinets in the bedroom aren’t practical. You would have to stand on the mattress to access your clothing, and they are too high. The cabinets in the kitchen are also too high and the shelves are too high and set far back. Granted it all looks nice but it is not practical except for someone about six and a half feet tall or taller.😒
You have good ideas but you need more closet space and storage for every day life.
That is a large home compared to my studio apartment 😂
nice home
Keep up the amazing work.
Whole point of tiny homes is that they are supposed to be affordable. $180k CAD is about $200k AU. Wow same size tiny home here is around $90k CAD if you get some one else to build it . DIY costs are about 1/2.
not interested in adverts posing as genuine videos
That’s about $115,000 U.S…..that’s not that bad. I know people think that’s pricey, but in today’s economy it’s pretty good. I lucked out in 2018 and I bought my two bedroom two bathroom 1500 ft.² duplex condo for $110,000 U.S. That same home is worth about $180,000 on the market right now. If I’m ever able to find a decent piece of land outside of the area that I’m in right now I would purchase something like this house in a heartbeat.
I want to be able to put in king bed with end tables and walk around space and bedroom on main floor-I would also like stackable dryer-not sure combo is good-hear lots of dislikes on combo washer/dryer
