Last summer, they ran an experiment: how long could they power their tiny home with solar? Over 30 days with no need for a generator! And that’s without ideal sun exposure. Their THOW is now headed to a new home on a family farmstead where it’ll be housing for a farm caretaker. Next DIY project for Jay: renovating a 1965 Airstream Caravel!

I love the channel and tiny houses, but I call BS a bit on this one. It’s being used as a camper, not a home. 30 days was the longest stretch? No drapes, It’s cute and useful, but it’s not a full time home.
I would give up my HUD apartment for something like this, I’m 57 years old, Heart issues and on SSDI retirement income. In a city with high crime ,Drugs and Homelessness. Even though I’m retired it’s still a lot of stress living where I’m at. I grew up on the Southern Oregon coast with mountains and ocean around me. I would move back there again but the wait-lists are WAY too long! You folks are fortunate to have had something like this and for your generosity for the Woman who has it now. Maybe I can get a GoFund me rounded up? or possibly help from family? I follow Jesus Christ and I pray everyday that I get out of this Crazy city and cause it’s not good for me mentally and physically to live here. Please pray for me 🙏

I like how they are talking about being able to run anything off of their power set up and a clip is shown of someone on a lap top… a lap top that isn’t plugged in. It makes no sense.
I really the wood stove at the level you have it, much safer and accessible.
I love this. The only thing I would like the sitting ares to be thicker. I look at them and think it would cut in your legs not very comfortable.
