  4. I like the kitchen cause the sink,n stove is on the opposite side from each other. I think it’s more space like this. No I don’t like where the tolliet is either.

Love this series! 😀 That hot tub movie theater is epic(!), and the interior design is lovely. 💖 I’m planning a longer, wider tiny to allow for aging in place with no stairs, but I do love a cozy gooseneck bedroom! 😍 Having space for tall people to sleep is a must for me. 8:28 Lovely bathroom! Agree that having the toilet out of sight is nice for aesthetics. For the secondary loft, an option I’ve considered if it will only be used for storage is putting a pull-down attic-style staircase in the _center_ of the space (into the kitchen in this case) for easier access to items all around the periphery with less/no crawling. Thanks for the video! 😀

  10. LOL – The first thing I noticed as you went to the bathroom was that the toilet was facing the rest of the house! I agree that you could lose the chair (I don’t like those pointy metal edges on the arms of that one!) and put in stairs like the ones you showed in Janis’ house, but then make the landing comfortable enough to sit on, with some cushions. You would likely use it for sitting for more time than for going up or down. I’d also lose the bedroom door, (better for air flow, too) but since I’m not a TV watcher – and more of a “through the window looker” – I’d definitely place the bed the other way to face the window, and lose the headboard and footboard (why that footboard, indeed?), and have the closet at the side. I find the closet right up against the bed gives a cramped, claustrophobic feeling. And I’d have a window behind the bed (opposite the current window) for air flow, too. I have to say that I wondered why whoever built the pantry drawers didn’t put the front drawer plate all the way across the front, so the unfinished side edges wouldn’t show. Hmmm. I like your other suggestions, Alexis and Christian! Especially important for folks to remember to add space for garbage, recycling, dirty clothes, shoes, keys and coats/hats!

  17. If you have an arbnb there is no way you could have a compost toilet or a water collection system. I like the idea of stars to the loft. You don’t want your guests who are not used to ladders to fall off and having a serious fall.

  18. I would do a high horizontal window, with a shelf for plants, in the living room, rather than the vertical one. It would allow for a larger sofa on that wall (with your coffee table suggestion), and mount an adjustable tv on the backside wall of the bedroom.I like your suggestion of flipping the sink and toilet.
